About Us

The TF Draper Company is a family-owned and operated business located 25 miles west of Portland, Oregon. It began in the family's small barn, where Tom Draper built one of the first three-section, hand-crafted wood carriage house garage doors in the state. Before long, the company outgrew the space afforded by the small barn, and now occupies a 16,000 square-foot production facility in the Willamette Valley town of Forest Grove.

Tom Draper, the company’s founder, has a passion for high quality garage doors. With nearly thirty years of industry experience, Tom brings immense knowledge and meticulously high standards to every project. It is his willingness to accept nothing less than the best from his suppliers, his employees and himself, that has fueled the company's success and growth.

Shelley Draper  manages the company's onsite showroom, and works one-on-one with customers throughout the design and manufacturing process.

Micall, one of Tom and Shelley’s four daughters, will be the first to greet you when you call or visit, and is involved in several aspects of the business. Brandon, a son-in-law to the Drapers, manages production and installation, and works closely with Tom and Shelley to guarantee customer satisfaction.
